You may have seen the discussion on the alex+von community forum about team names, and I’m excited to announce the name of our team: Naturally Passionate! I just love everything that it conveys and I hope you do too.

That said, I want to welcome everyone to the Naturally Passionate Team Site! I created this site so that I can provide updates, announcement and training for our team in one location that’s easy for everyone to access.

Email newsletters are wonderful resources, but I find that having everything online is easier for going back to find past information. We’re all working to build our alex+von businesses long term, so I want to make sure you can access past articles easily and efficiently—especially as you bring new team members aboard.

You will receive notifications of new posts via email each morning. If you have team members you’d like me to add to the mailing list, please contact me and I’ll be happy to do that for you.

I want this site to be collaborative, so please comment on posts. Your feedback and input is critical to the success of our team. That’s why I would love to have our team members write posts to contribute to the site.

Training: Selling Via Parties and Open Houses

Reminder About 2012 Activity Requirements

I have been hearing a lot of questions surrounding the activity requirements for alex+von, and how much you need to sell to remain active. While the compensation plan requires you to sell $500 every 3-month rolling period, that requirement has been waived for 2012.

Now you can focus on growing your alex+von business at your own pace. Let me know what I can do to support your in growing your business.

Many of you probably saw the buzz on Facebook last week about Dr. Oz featuring the 100% Pure Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream. However, I know some of the women on our team aren’t on Facebook, so I wanted to make sure everyone had enough information to use this endorsement to their advantage.

You can watch the Breakthrough Wrinkle-Fighters segment on the Dr. Oz website. I tried to get a copy I could embed here, but didn’t have any luck.

I also wanted to share some screen shots Veronica pulled from the video that you can use to help promote the Dr. Oz feature.

I Will Have Limited Internet Access for 1-2 Weeks

Hi Team!

We have been without power in 3/4 of our house for the last week. The electrician determined that the entire house needs to be re-wired, and we’ll have to move out for 1-2 weeks while that’s happening.

Unfortunately, the house our landlord is having us stay in while the retrofit is being done, while beautiful, doesn’t have internet access. We’ll be moving over to that house Sunday night.

So, if you need an answer to something quickly in the next week or two, please call me. You’ll get a faster response than email or facebook. If it’s not time sensitive, you can email or facebook me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.


Adding new consultants to the alex+von business is very important for the company’s growth for many reasons. For instance, it’s very important for us to add more consultants so we have enough bandwidth to support the addition of more brands.

Because it’s so important for us to add more consultants, Sonia and Silvia are offering a very generous incentive for new consultants to sign up with alex+von before the end of the year, so I wanted to remind you of what the incentive entails.

Any consultant that signs up to be an alex+von consultant in November or December has the ability to earn their alex+von starter kit free.

To earn a free starter kit, the new consultant simply has to achieve $500 in sales before March 31, 2012! It’s that easy. Even if it’s just someone looking to sell seasonally, this is a really great incentive to join now.

I wrote a post on my blog about why I joined alex+von, which includes very specific details on my successes. Feel free to share any snippets of my “testimonial” to help you recruit new consultants.

And if you want to set up some time to talk with me about how you can build your team, please feel free to shoot me a message. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have via email or on the phone. Just let me know what works best for you.

Remember, I’m here to help YOU succeed. Without your success, I can’t succeed. I made Team Leader in November. My next goal is to achieve Senior Team Leader. Before I can do that, I need to help at least two of you reading this achieve Team Leader status (I would love to help every one of you who wants to reach that level to do so).
